Centers for Disease Control (CDC) & Prevention ~ Learn the Signs. Act Early
For Milestones and and development information - The CDC released new data that show an average of 1 in 88 children in certain parts of the U.S. has an Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD). The data also show that the average age at which children are diagnosed with ASD is 4½ years old. This reletively late age of diagnosis is a reminder of how important it is to be aware of milestones that mark a child's development and to act early if a delay is supected. Acting early can make a real differnce! Visit the CDC Website for more information, milestone checklists, and much more! Milestones: www.cdc.gov/milestones
